Basketball Recap: New Haven Has No Trouble Against Wellsville-Middletown

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Francis Borgia, New Haven was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers 28-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Shamrocks also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

New Haven now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Wellsville-Middletown, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Haven will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. James at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th. Wellsville-Middletown also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Elsberry at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th.
