Volleyball Recap: Lynn Classical Comes Up Short

The Lynn Classical Rams came up short against the O'Bryant Tigers on Friday and fell 3-1. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-16 in the first set.

Lynn Classical started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-20.

Viet Tran paced Lynn Classical's offense, picking up ten kills. Tran got some help from Kenzel Lantano and his 24 assists. Tran was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Lynn Classical and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for O'Bryant, they moved to 5-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Lynn Classical wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Everett on the 5th. As for O'Bryant, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Boston Latin on the 5th.
