Basketball Game Preview: East Thunderbirds vs. Scottsbluff Bearcats

The East Thunderbirds will take on the Scottsbluff Bearcats in a holiday battle at on Thursday. East is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

East saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against Riverton by a score of 71-61. The Thunderbirds pushed the score to 49-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolverines cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Scottsbluff put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Buffalo 65-47.

Scottsbluff's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for East, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

East came up short against Scottsbluff in their previous matchup back in January, falling 63-51. Can East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
