Softball Recap: East Peoria Takes a Loss

East Peoria has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.52 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Washington Panthers, falling 14-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raiders have suffered since April 24th.

East Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Washington, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

Looking ahead, East Peoria will challenge Morton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they will head out on the road to square off against Dunlap at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
