Softball Recap: High Tech SD Beats High Tech CV for Their Third Straight Victory

High Tech SD entered their tilt with High Tech CV on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Bruins. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Storm also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2019.

High Tech SD let Xima Martinez and Grace Gallagher run wild. Martinez got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Gallagher got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That double marked the first that Martinez has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucia Williams, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

High Tech SD always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

High Tech SD's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for High Tech CV, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Tech SD will head out to square off against Francis Parker at 4:30 p.m. on April 3. As for High Tech CV, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on April 14.
