Flour Bluff has gone 7-0 against Alice recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Flour Bluff Hornets will venture away from home to face off against the Alice Coyotes at 6:15 p.m. Flour Bluff has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Flour Bluff turned things around against Miller on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-25 win over the Buccaneers. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 635th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Alice entered their tilt with Ray on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Texans 66-30. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Flour Bluff's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Alice, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Flour Bluff took their win against Alice in their previous meeting back in December of 2020 by a conclusive 63-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Flour Bluff since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
