Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln Park vs. Solorio + How To Watch

The Lincoln Park Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Solorio Sun Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lincoln Park's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Back of the Yards College Prep as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Lincoln Park hit the Bobcats with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jacob Cardona, Bruce Morocho, and Joseph Burcell.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Solorio). They blew past Lindblom 7-0 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Solorio with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Solorio and bumps their season record up to 6-5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for Lincoln Park, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-4.

Lincoln Park suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Solorio when the teams last played back in September of 2018. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
