On Berkeley Prep's side, Rivers Kurland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 14 Ks. Kurland has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
