St. Francis had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Becker Bulldogs 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Francis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Fiskewold, who went 1-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Francis is set to take on their familiar foe Zimmerman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Becker will challenge rival North Branch at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
