The Miami Hurricanes will get a look at their future — while also celebrating a bit of their past — when Michael Irvin II signs his Letter of Intent on Feb. 3.

The son of former Miami Hurricane and NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin, Junior played for St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) this past season after transferring from Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas) last year.

The elder Irvin was a part of the Miami dynasty in the 1980s when the Hurricanes won the national championship in 1987 under head coach Jimmy Johnson. Michael Irvin Jr., meanwhile, is a part of a Hurricane recruiting class that is ranked No. 18 by the 247Sports Team Rankings.

Michael Irvin Jr. is just one of a number sons of former NFL players who will be making their college choice on Feb. 3. But unlike Irvin, not all of the players will be attending their father's alma mater. Here's a look at a sampling.
