Basketball Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson was the 60-48 winner over Center Point-Urbana when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hudson Pirates took a hard 64-50 fall against the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Center Point-Urbana, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Hudson will face off against Columbus at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Center Point-Urbana, they will venture away from home to square off against Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Center Point-Urbana knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Marion likes a good challenge.
