Volleyball Recap: South Stanly Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Stanly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Parkwood Wolf Pack, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolf Pack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-13.

Parkwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rowyn Burkey out in front who had 37 assists and four digs. Burkey is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 28 every time she's taken the court this season. Zanai Thomas- Minor was another key player, getting 11 digs, five kills, and three aces.

South Stanly's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Parkwood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Stanly will welcome Gray Stone Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
