Union-Endicott had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 7-10 to make it six. They lost 10-0 to the Vestal Golden Bears. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-2 loss on May 7th.

As for Vestal, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games.

For Vestal's part, Ben Tanton was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched.
