Basketball Recap: Bellefontaine Chieftains vs. Urbana Hillclimbers
Bellefontaine lost against Urbana back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bellefontaine Chieftains took a blow against the Urbana Hillclimbers, falling 59-32. The contest marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Chieftains players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tiffany Boop, who posted eight points. Boop is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Rylie Reames was another key player, putting up two points.
Peyton Mounce was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds for Urbana. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Mounce has scored at least a third of Urbana's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandra Dixon, who had 16 points and three steals.
Bellefontaine has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Urbana, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
