Soccer Game Preview: Cypress Springs vs. Cypress Lakes

The Cypress Springs Panthers will square off against the Cypress Lakes Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Cypress Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Cypress Springs turned things around against Waller on Wednesday. They never let the Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Cypress Lakes brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on Langham Creek with a sharp 5-2 victory on Wednesday. With the Spartans ahead 4-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.
