After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aurora, Cuyahoga Falls was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Barberton Magics 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Black Tigers in their matchups with the Magics: they've now won four in a row.

Ash Walker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

Cuyahoga Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Barberton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Coincidentally, Cuyahoga Falls and Barberton will both be playing Tallmadge the next time they take the field. The Magics will host the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Black Tigers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
