Softball Recap: Lamesa Falls Short of Muleshoe in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lamesa can now relate to. They came up short against the Muleshoe Mules on Saturday, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mules this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Lamesa and nudges their season record down to 15-11. As for Muleshoe, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-8.

As of now, neither Lamesa nor the Mules have any future games scheduled.
