Farmville Central was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 40-39 to D.H. Conley. Farmville Central found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 19 to ten on offense.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nakevia Phillips, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamya Saddler, who scored 16 points.
Leading D.H. Conley to victory were Charlazha Wilson and Ella Pierre-Louis. Wilson scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while Pierre-Louis dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Pierre-Louis' third in a row with at least ten points. Moira Skalar was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 rebounds.
Farmville Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for D.H. Conley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
