Football Game Preview: Brown County Hornets vs. North Greene Spartans

The Brown County Hornets will take on the North Greene Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Greene took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Brown County, who comes in off a win.

Brown County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-0 win over Beardstown. Considering the Hornets have won six games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, North Greene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Pleasant Hill/Western and fell 40-0.

Brown County pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.0 points on average over those games. As for North Greene, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
