Softball Recap: Southeast Seminoles vs. Bayshore Bruins

Southeast's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Bayshore Bruins 18-3. The high-scoring effort was just what the Seminoles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Kimberly Cordero was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nia Civil, who scored four runs while going 3-for-3.

Southeast was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .742. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

As for Bayshore, they will challenge Braden River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bruins are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
