The Eagles won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.
The team relied heavily on Arianna Myles, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Natalie Potts, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Cheatham County Central entered their matchup against East Hickman County on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cubs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Cubs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cheatham County Central's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for East Hickman County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
