Softball Recap: Juneau-Douglas Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Juneau-Douglas entered their tilt with Sitka on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Wolves. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 18-9 victory back in April.

Bryanna Eakes was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Williams, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Juneau-Douglas' record now sits at 17-13-1. As for Sitka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-13-4.

Juneau-Douglas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
