Baptist Hill won the last time they faced St. John and things went their way on Saturday too. The Baptist Hill Bobcats put the hurt on the St. John's Islanders with a sharp 68-42 victory. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Baptist Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Martrell Wright led the charge by going 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Douglas, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Baptist Hill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.3 points. As for St. John's, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Baptist Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 85-49 defeat against Porter-Gaud on the 16th. As for St. John's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-44 loss against Charleston Collegiate on the 16th.
