South Anchorage is 9-0-1 against Chugiak since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home court against the Mustangs at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Anchorage comes in on 17 and Chugiak on four.

South Anchorage is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Wasilla, who was ranked 17th at the time (South Anchorage was ranked second). The Wolverines put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday.

South Anchorage never let Wasilla on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Chugiak got the win against Bartlett on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Chugiak won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-23.

South Anchorage's victory bumped their record up to 27-3. As for Chugiak, their win bumped their record up to 22-10.

South Anchorage skirted past Chugiak 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
