Volleyball Recap: Mills Has No Trouble Against Pinewood + How To Watch

Mills won the last time they faced Pinewood and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Mills never let Pinewood on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 29-27, 25-14.

Mills found their leader in sophomore Kara Da Luz, who had nine digs and six aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Noelle Young, who had five digs and one block.

Mills was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Mills' win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Pinewood, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Mills will welcome Terra Nova at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinewood, they will head out to face off against King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
