Softball Recap: Farragut Victorious

Farragut lost to Rhea County on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Admirals came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Admirals.

The team relied heavily on Camryn Shrader, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played.

Farragut kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.

Farragut's record now sits at 31-7. As for Rhea County, they moved to 20-5 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Farragut nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
