After a string of four wins, Pro Stock Royals Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grace Academy Lions. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

Pro Stock Royals Academy got a good showing from Israel Brown, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Luke Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Pro Stock Royals Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Grace Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
