Soccer Recap: King's Way Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Klahowya

It's playoff time, and King's Way Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Klahowya Eagles 2-1. Given King's Way Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Klahowya are ranked 126th) , the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Asher Wyckoff and Colin Hermes scored both of King's Way Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

King's Way Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-2 record this season. As for Klahowya, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8-2.

King's Way Christian has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Overlake on the 23rd. Klahowya does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
