Cornwall Central barely beat Valley Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dragons blew past the Vikings 3-0 on Tuesday. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Cornwall Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-11.

Cornwall Central's victory bumped their record up to 20-2-2. As for Valley Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Coincidentally, Cornwall Central and Valley Central will both be playing Pine Bush the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Bushmen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Dragons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
