Baseball Recap: Warren/Stockton Has No Trouble Against Polo

Warren/Stockton not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15th (when they won 16-0). Everything went their way against the Polo Marcos as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Warhawks have won nine matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Warren/Stockton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Polo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Coming up, Warren/Stockton will venture away from home to take on Byron at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something the Warhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Polo, they will welcome River Ridge/Scales Mound at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Marcos are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
