Recap: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Southview Cougars
The Lima Senior Spartans entered their tilt with the Southview Cougars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lima Senior took down Southview 47-32 on Saturday. For Lima Senior, this counts as revenge for the 59-40 loss Southview walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2019.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lima Senior to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maisie Strawser, who scored 16 points along with five steals. Strawser continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Angie Kohlhofer, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Lima Senior's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Southview, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Coincidentally, Lima Senior and Southview will both be playing Scott the next time they take the court. Southview will host Scott at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lima Senior will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
