Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lincoln walked away with it. They walked away with a 43-35 win over the Bridgeport Indians on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aundrea Rockwell out in front who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and four blocks. Lincoln is 3-1 when Rockwell posts three or more blocks, but 6-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Adams, who had 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Lincoln smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bridgeport only nine offensive rebounds.
Despite the loss, Bridgeport still got an impressive performance from Haylee Pryor, who put up 15 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Reese Pierce, who earned seven points and four steals.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Bridgeport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
Looking ahead, Lincoln will challenge Keyser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keyser will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight. Bridgeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
