Volleyball Recap: Wamego Gets the Win

Wamego saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sacred Heart Knights by a score of 2-0.

While Wamego won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23.

Ryann Langvardt paced Wamego's offense, picking up ten kills. Langvardt got some help from Kennedy Flynn and her 11 assists.

The win got Wamego back to even at 1-1. As for Sacred Heart, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Wamego has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against South on the 30th. As for Sacred Heart, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Chapman on the 30th.
