Basketball Recap: Holy Family Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Holy Family Academy won against Hinsdale last Monday with 71 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Holy Family Academy strolled past the Pittsfield Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 71-56. The victory was familiar territory for Holy Family Academy who have now won three contests in a row.

Holy Family Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Pittsfield, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Family Academy will head out to square off against Epping at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Family Academy is facing Epping at the right time seeing as Epping is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Pittsfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Concord Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Concord Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Pittsfield likes a good challenge.
