Basketball Recap: Fort Washakie Takes a Loss

Fort Washakie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Cokeville Panthers 64-37. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Panthers are ranked 14th).

Fort Washakie's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cokeville, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Fort Washakie has already played their next contest (against Dubois), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cokeville, they will square off against Little Snake River at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
