Baseball Recap: Tri-Village Comes Up Short

Tri-Village was the 12-1 winner over Fairlawn when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Jets by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Tri-Village's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Fairlawn, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-18 record.

Looking ahead, Fairlawn will challenge Southeastern Local at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tri-Village will be paying especially close attention to the Jets' match: after the Jets face off against Bradford, they'll take on Tri-Village again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
