Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids-Bayard Skates Past Glidden-Ralston with Ease

Coon Rapids-Bayard won the last time they faced Glidden-Ralston and things went their way on Monday too. The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders claimed a resounding 62-20 victory over the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Coon Rapids-Bayard pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points over those games. As for Glidden-Ralston, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Coon Rapids-Bayard will host Glidden-Ralston on February 18th. As for Glidden-Ralston, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-30 victory against Storm Lake St. Mary on the 13th.
