Softball Game Preview: Dirigo Cougars vs. Cony Rams

Dirigo's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Winthrop as they made off with a 16-0 win. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Meanwhile, Cony beat Monmouth Academy 14-11 on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Abby Brown, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season. Kya Douin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles.

Dirigo's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Cony, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
