Tipton barely beat Tri-Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The game was the first time Tipton have beaten Tri-Central on their pitch since August 29, 2017.

Oliver Stewart and Tyler Sorensen scored all three of Tipton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

The win made it two in a row for Tipton and bumps their season record up to 4-0-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Tri-Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton will welcome Alexandria-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-Central, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Rossville at 5:30 p.m.
