Volleyball Recap: Wyoming Area Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wyoming Area lost against Greater Nanticoke Area back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-10.

Taylor Gashi paced Wyoming Area's offense, picking up eight kills. Gashi got some help from Ava Boyle and her 16 assists. Gashi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Wyoming Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Wyoming Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Delaware Valley on the 25th. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will face off against Lake-Lehman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
