Baseball Recap: Iowa Takes a Loss

Iowa was the 3-2 winner over DeRidder when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Iowa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for DeRidder, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season.

Iowa is taking a road trip to challenge Lake Arthur at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DeRidder, they will host Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
