Burroughs hasn't had much luck against Oak Hills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Burros will square off against the Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. Burroughs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Burroughs after they put the first runs on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Hesperia by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Burros couldn't push the score so high this time.

Burroughs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cael Rivera, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Oak Hills fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Sultana on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Sultans by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

James Juarez and Connor Wagner stepped up to the plate in a big way. Juarez went 2-for-5 with three RBI and one double, while Wagner scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Oak Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Burroughs might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Oak Hills when the teams last played back in March. Can the Burros avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
