Volleyball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. West Carroll Thunder
Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Carroll Thunder. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunder earlier this season, when they won 2-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.
Kaylee Hartzell paced Warren's offense, picking up six kills. Hartzell were helped by Mayci Mullen and Averi Sabinson, who contributed three assists each. Sophie Leverton controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for West Carroll, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-18.
