Barbers Hill came tearing into Friday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match with ease, bagging a 71-40 win over the Port Neches-Groves Indians. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Indians are ranked 864th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
