Kynzee Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carlie Guile, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Robinson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask D'Arbonne Woods). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Simsboro a 19-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for D'Arbonne Woods, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

D'Arbonne Woods has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. Calvary Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 27-0.
