Softball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Lake Howell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The University Titans took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Howell Silverhawks.

Mia Fisher made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lake Howell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, University will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Winter Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Howell, they will venture away from home to take on Windermere at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
