Soccer Recap: Perry Find Success

Perry saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Justin Garza Guardians 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Perry's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 50th in Arizona, while Justin Garza are ranked 537th in California).

Nick Saveski and Eli Bisaha scored both of Perry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Justin Garza, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Perry will square off against Browne at 6:00 p.m. on January 8th. As for Justin Garza, they will face off against Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
