Softball Preview: Southern Tornadoes vs. Eastern Eagles

The Tornadoes were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Blue Devils. The Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.
Meanwhile, Eastern unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of River Valley.
Ashlynn Thomas 2027 was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aedre Ault 2028, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
Southern's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games. As for Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
