Ellie Joseph made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Allie Oliver was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Callie Arnold was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Oregon City skirted past Lakeridge 5-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
