Preview: Denmark vs. Forest Wildcats
Denmark and the Forest Wildcats will round out the year against one another at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday at. Denmark is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Denmark pushed their score all the way to 65 last Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 86-65 loss at the hands of North Gwinnett. While losing is never fun, Denmark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while North Gwinnett is ranked 100th).
Meanwhile, even though Southland Christian scored an imposing 56 points on Thursday, Forest still came out on top. Forest walked away with a 63-56 victory over Southland Christian.
Denmark has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Forest, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
